Proofolio was built by a team of editors and researchers who have spent years on both sides of the editing process——writing under pressure, submitting to tight deadlines, and learning the hard way what good editing can (and can't) do for a piece of work.
That experience shaped everything about how we work. We're not a platform. We're not a factory. We're a small team of experienced editors who care about the work we take on.
When you send us your document, a real person reads it. When we send it back, the notes you receive are written for you specifically——not copied from a template. Over the years, we've edited work for top researchers, organisations, and journals.
